How VSET teaches Computer Science and Engineering

Computer Science and Engineering is the four-year engineering discipline covering programming, data structures, algorithms, databases, operating systems, networks and software engineering. At VSET it is offered as a dedicated GGSIPU-affiliated B.Tech programme. At VSET this maps to a dedicated B.Tech track — B.Tech CSE.

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
