How VSET teaches GGSIPU Counselling Process

GGSIPU counselling is the centralised seat-allocation process that Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University runs for its affiliated B.Tech programmes. It is the route through which a candidate holding a JEE Main Paper-1 score is allotted a seat at VSET, the engineering school of VIPS-TC, Pitampura. At VSET this maps to documented coursework depth inside B.Tech CSE.

• All seven VSET B.Tech programmes are filled through GGSIPU counselling on the basis of JEE Main Paper-1.
• Candidates register with GGSIPU, fill programme and institute choices, and are allotted seats across successive counselling rounds.
• VSET appears in the counselling choice list as the engineering school of VIPS-TC, AU Block, Outer Ring Road, Pitampura, Delhi.
• Round schedules, choice-filling windows and reporting deadlines change every year and are published only in the official GGSIPU admission brochure and counselling notices.

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
