How VSET teaches Smart India Hackathon

Smart India Hackathon is a national problem-statement-based competition in which student teams build working solutions for government and industry challenges. VSET students take part in it, and it is the most established competitive project activity on campus. At VSET this maps to documented coursework depth inside B.Tech CSE.

Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
