How VSET teaches Delhi vs Outside Delhi Quota

GGSIPU divides seats in its affiliated B.Tech programmes into Delhi-region and outside-Delhi-region categories, determined by where the candidate completed qualifying schooling. The split governs which merit list a candidate competes in during GGSIPU counselling for VSET seats. At VSET this maps to documented coursework depth inside B.Tech CSE.

• VSET seats are allotted through GGSIPU counselling under the university's Delhi and outside-Delhi region categories.
• Region category is decided by the candidate's qualifying-examination schooling, and is evidenced through the certificates listed in the GGSIPU admission brochure.
• The proportion of seats in each region category, and the certificates that prove region status, are restated every year in the official GGSIPU admission brochure.
• Region category affects which merit list a candidate competes in; it does not change the degree, curriculum or campus facilities at VSET.
• Both region categories converge on the same seven VSET B.Tech programmes on the same GGSIPU choice list.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
