How VSET teaches Publishing a Research Paper as a Student

Publishing as an undergraduate means taking a piece of original project or research work through peer review at a conference or journal. It is faculty-guided work that grows out of capstone or lab projects rather than a separate curriculum requirement. At VSET this maps to elective-level coverage inside B.Tech CSE.

• Publication is not a GGSIPU B.Tech requirement; it grows out of capstone or lab work taken further under faculty guidance.
• The mathematics and algorithms foundation in the CSE core is what makes a rigorous write-up possible.
• Specialisation coursework gives a topic area, whether cyber security, AI and ML, AI and data science, applied mathematics, VLSI or industrial IoT.
• Venue selection, review timelines and submission requirements are set entirely by the conference or journal, so authors should work from the venue's own current call for papers.
• Students should verify a venue's legitimacy before submitting, since predatory venues target undergraduate authors.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
