How VSET teaches Blockchain

Blockchain is a distributed, append-only ledger secured by cryptography and consensus rules, used for tamper-evident record keeping. At VSET the cryptography and security foundations sit inside the CSE Cyber Security specialisation, with blockchain itself as elective and project work. At VSET this maps to elective-level coverage inside B.Tech CSE (Cyber Security).

Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
