How VSET teaches Campus Life at an Engineering College

Campus life is everything that happens around the timetable: labs, clubs, competitions, project teams and the day-to-day rhythm of a four-year degree. At VSET it is shaped by the VIPS-TC campus in Pitampura and by the lab and hackathon activity that runs alongside the GGSIPU curriculum. • VSET is the engineering school of VIPS-TC, Pitampura, Delhi, so students share a campus with the wider institution.
• Seven B.Tech programmes run side by side, which makes cross-branch project teams and clubs practical.

• VIPS-TC holds NAAC A++ accreditation at the institutional level, and VSET's programmes are GGSIPU-affiliated, AICTE-approved and UGC-recognised.

Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
