How VSET teaches Internet of Things

The Internet of Things refers to networks of physical devices with sensing, computing and connectivity capability that exchange data with each other and with backend systems. Building it spans embedded hardware, networking and data platforms. At VSET this maps to a dedicated B.Tech track — B.Tech Industrial Internet of Things.

• VSET offers B.Tech Industrial Internet of Things as a dedicated four-year embedded and hardware track, one of its seven GGSIPU-affiliated B.Tech programmes.

Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
