Message queues and event streaming platforms let services communicate asynchronously by publishing and consuming messages instead of calling each other directly. This decouples components, absorbs traffic spikes and makes long-running work survivable. At VSET this maps to elective-level coverage inside B.Tech CSE.

• Distributed computing content in the B.Tech CSE core covers message passing, ordering and coordination, which is the conceptual base.

• Students usually encounter brokers first while building a capstone that needs background processing.

Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
