How VSET teaches Microcontrollers

Microcontrollers are single-chip computers with integrated memory and peripherals, designed to control devices directly. Programming them means working close to the hardware with tight resource and timing constraints. At VSET this maps to documented coursework depth inside B.Tech Industrial Internet of Things.

• It is taught together with sensor interfacing and embedded systems in the same programme.

Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
