How VSET teaches Predictive Analytics

Predictive analytics uses historical data to estimate what is likely to happen next — demand, failure, churn, risk. It sits between classical statistics and machine learning. At VSET this maps to documented coursework depth inside B.Tech CSE (AI & DS).

• Prediction work draws on the applied statistics content of the AI & DS track and on applied ML.
• Students who want the deeper modelling and training side can compare against the AI & ML track, which leans towards model training and LLMs.

Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
