Software architecture patterns are recurring high-level structures for organising a system — layered, client-server, event-driven, microservices, pipe-and-filter and others. Choosing one is a decision about which qualities the system will make easy and which it will make hard. At VSET this maps to documented coursework depth inside B.Tech CSE.

• Software Engineering is a core subject in the GGSIPU B.Tech CSE scheme followed at VSET and covers architectural design and system modelling.
• Architectural styles are taught alongside requirements analysis, so students learn to justify structure against stated requirements.

Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
