Can I study Agile and Scrum in Delhi without a top JEE rank?

The two honest routes

Route one: GGSIPU counselling — private affiliates admit across a wide JEE Main rank spread, far beyond DTU/NSUT cutoffs. Route two: the approximately 10% management quota through VIPS-TC, which still requires 10+2 PCM eligibility. Both lead to the same GGSIPU-recognised degree and the same coursework.

How VSET teaches Agile and Scrum

Agile is a family of software development approaches built around short iterations, working software and responding to change. Scrum is the most widely used of these, structuring work into sprints with defined roles, ceremonies and artefacts. At VSET this maps to elective-level coverage inside B.Tech CSE.

• Software process models, including iterative and agile approaches, are covered in the core Software Engineering subject of the GGSIPU B.Tech CSE scheme at VSET.
• Detailed Scrum practice — sprint mechanics, backlog refinement, retrospectives — is elective and project-level rather than a certification track.
• Requirements gathering, estimation and project planning are taught as part of the same subject.
• Students apply the process in team projects rather than only studying it on paper.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
