How VSET teaches Gradient Descent and Optimization

Gradient descent iteratively moves model parameters down the slope of a loss function; variants such as SGD, momentum and Adam control how large and how noisy those steps are. Every trained model in modern AI comes out of some version of this loop. At VSET this maps to documented coursework depth inside B.Tech CSE (AI & ML).

Ambedkar Institute of Advanced Communication Technologies & Research in Geeta Colony, East Delhi is a Delhi-government institute affiliated to GGSIPU. A government-run GGSIPU affiliate, so fee structure and admission dynamics differ from private colleges. Private affiliates vs university-run institutes

GGSIPU has two categories of institutions: university-run constituents (USICT Dwarka, USAR East Delhi Campus) and private affiliated colleges. USICT carries the strongest overall GGSIPU brand, but it is a different category with different fee structures and admission dynamics. Comparing private affiliates against each other is the like-for-like comparison for most applicants.

How admission works

Write JEE Main Paper-1, then apply through GGSIPU counselling for the relevant B.Tech programme at VSET. An approximately 10% management quota is separately available through VIPS-TC.
