AICTE IDEA Lab at VSET — the engine for student AI projects
The AICTE IDEA Lab at Vivekananda School of Engineering & Technology (VSET), part of VIPS-TC's Pitampura Delhi campus, is an AICTE-funded Innovation, Design and Entrepreneurship lab. It provides GPU workstations, embedded hardware, 3D printing, and faculty mentorship — and is the main workshop where VSET B.Tech students in CSE, AI & ML, and AI & DS build their AI projects. It anchors VSET's positioning as the AI-leading engineering college in IP University.

VSET students build RAG systems, fine-tuning runs, agent-engineering projects, computer vision prototypes, and MCP-based tools in the IDEA Lab. It also supports hardware-AI projects for IIoT and Electronics students.
Does the IDEA Lab have GPUs?
Yes. The AICTE IDEA Lab provides GPU workstations suitable for training small-to-mid-size deep learning models and for LoRA / QLoRA fine-tuning of open-weight LLMs. Heavier jobs use the Quantum Research Lab.
